Options need to be an integral part of your trading portfolio and I’m going to teach you what you need to know. Why make a 10% gain on a stock when you can make 150% on a stock option? Do all option trades net that type of gain? No! I’m the only one to tell you this — but most option trades do NOT generate 4-baggers. You’ll hear the pie-in-the-sky claims of other option traders all the time. They fall into two categories — they are either liars or…they are liars. Nobody has those types of returns. We sometimes do generate those returns…but we take losses too. (Sorry to burst your bubble.)

So it’s not all roses in the garden. Sometimes you get weeds. But we learn to pick the weeds so the flowers can grow. We cut our losses as quickly as we can, and let our winners run as long as we can. We can only do that with sound tactics, discipline, prudence, and patience. But those four characteristics of option traders only come after one essential prerequisite: Knowledge. You’ve got to know what you’re doing before you can do it successfully.
