Big Moves that could snap back tomorrow:
$CPRT – 3rd std deviation move. Expect more snapback tomorrow…but the trade was off the 200-day moving average.
$GOV – 14.5 ... - Remington: $VG is anyone following this chart? Think Dan would call it a HI Stack squeeze (5%) BB bands bit high off 200 dma but certainly looks like a good trend to me. Dad gave to me at approx 11$ bought at 12$ full position. seems to have been resting for a bit
- DAN: @Remington $VG It's resting for sure. Worth watching and hanging on to. I wouldn't be buying it here because it just looks like it needs a bit more rest and tightening. But the uptrend is intact. Good stock, Remington. 8-) Thanks for posting it.
- Remington: @DAN $VG Thanks to you I bought $CLF 2 summers ago and made good $ trading it from 2.75 up to 6ish$. One night you said to hang onto some for LT and I did. It turned out to be my smallest position that has APPRECIATED into my largest position by a lot since. I feel like I should cut back on it but it has been really strong lately.
- DAN: @Remington $VG $CLF Wow. That's awesome, Remington. Congratulations! I might have planted that idea in your mind, but you are the one who implemented it and made it happen. Great exercise in patience and discipline, particularly during the big retracement last year. When you've got a small position with a very low cost basis on a stock that you just want to hang onto, it's much easier to hang onto it than if you're watching every tick on the chart. They buy below spot from customer and saves them the time to run it to LA to the real wholesalers. If I get any that are below $VG I will sell those when the opportunity presents. Most gold coin traded into jewelers are in view packs from a long time ago. back when gold was $32 and oz. For what its worth there are 12 oz to the pound. Best of Luck

In Techland, I think TXN's positive surprise will have some staying power this morning, especially when combined with AT&T's (T) strong showing. I believe that AT&T will be a prime beneficiary of the Vonage (VG) meltdown. Not many folks know this, ... - Newt: Morning all, As a $VG subscriber I'd hate to see the company go under. The only other option I'm aware of where I live is $CMCSA, whose best sales pitch to me so far has been "sure it's $20 more a month, but you get the convenience of paying everything on one combined bill."
- Dan: Yep. Last time I called $VG customer service, I was on hold for more than 15 minutes before I hung up. Had other things to do and couldn't just sit there waiting to talk to someone who speaks English as a second language and reads from a script. I'm one of those guys who called AT&T after finding it on the internet. Spoke with some guy named @Jason who picked up on the second ring. We talked for about 15 minutes and he told me about their product. He's scheduled a "follow up" call to me this Thursday to let me know how my number transfer is coming along. That's customer service -- Ma Bell rocks.
